Find Your Daily Calm believes that there is not just one way to find your calm. There is no hard and fast rule to achieve it. There is no so-called magic pill to to take to find stillness and relief from the many stresses we all feel. We believe the same way spiritual sages of old and present believe that the path to enlightenment is a pathless path. Be it in meditation, poetry and prose, and in the many prayers written by known and lesser-known religions, Calm may be achieved and find it where you may. In this episode, you will hear the famous poem and prayer of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. He was a Jesuit paleontologist who worked to understand evolution and faith. Pierre was born May 1, 1881, and died on April 10, 1955. Between these days Teilhard fully participated in a life that included priesthood, living and working in the front lines of war, field work exploring the early origins of the human race, and adventurous travels of discovery in the backlands of China. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin also participated fully in an intellectual life through the development of his imaginative, mystical writings on the evolutionary nature of the world and the cosmos.
