The purpose and scope of ethical investment has appropriately gained the momentum it deserves, and continues to capture the attention of investors and advisors around the globe. A majority of Australians now expect ESG considerations to be the standard when it comes to investing their money, reducing risk and increasing overall returns.
But the evolution of greenwashing has also proven that talk is cheap and deeper engagement is needed for a sustainable future. Recently, as part of Ethical Investment Week, Professor Chellie Spiller and Dr Rodger Spiller shared their insights into Wayfinding, the process of finding one's route while navigating, and the benefits of practicing a spiritual dimension to ethical investing. 
Chellie Spiller is a professor of leadership and management at The University of Waikato Management School, while Rodger Spiller is the managing director and founder of Money Matters, an ethical investment adviser firm in NZ, and the first New Zealand member of the Ethical Advisers' Co-op. In this special episode of Financial Standard, both join Rachel Alembakis, managing editor of FS Sustainability, to get to the heart of the Wayfinding philosophy.
