Overall Dune, is sci-fi masterfully executed with depth at many levels; you'll find a place for you to enjoy the movie.
Plot Synopsis:
Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet's exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence, only those who can conquer their own fear will survive.
Brief Backstory:
Dune is based on the novel of the same name by Frank Herbert released in 1965. The novel was brought to film in 1984 but fell short of its mark due to the scope of ambition of the film. With this new adaptation, technology has caught up to the point we can bring aspects to the big screen that weren't possible technically prior to computer graphics.
