Fear Blocks Love is a conversational, self-growth, psychology podcast influenced by ancient wisdom from both Eastern and Western spiritual traditions. Here we discuss the various ways that reacting to fear prevents us from acting with compassion towards others and ourselves. Each week a different topic pertaining to how our fear blocks love (e.g., how fearing weight gain leads to crash dieting and poor body image, how fearing failure results in high-achieving then burnout, how fear of rejection in relationships results in pushing the other person away, etc.) is covered. Fear Blocks Love is hosted by Tara Deliberto, PhD., a clinical psychologist, creator of Integrative Modalities Therapy (IMT) for eating disorders, self-growth devotee, theology enthusiast, mindfulness & meditation practitioner, spiritual retreat leader, published author, and former faculty at Cornell University's medical school.
