Episode Synopsis "Episode #1: Self-Care Tips"
Welcome to FCS Counseling Team's first episode of our podcast, today we will be talking about Self Care Tips as we are transitioning from spring break into virtual school life. I would just like to acknowledge, that things have drastically changed over these past couple of weeks, we have had to adjust our lives including the way we do our life on a day to day basis, there are also large-scale changes happening in real time, adding to feelings of uncertainty. It is easy to feel anxious, nervous, and upset during this time which could arguably get in the way of tasks that we still need to do even though the whole world feels like it is on pause right now. It is important to still take care of your overall health which includes your physical health as well as your mental health. There are ways to stay calm during the coronavirus outbreak, flattening your personal anxiety curve to a manageable level and keeping your panic from peaking. To further help you stay centered during these uncertain times, we’ve assembled some advice for keeping anxiety at bay with the following self care tips. Do you have ideas about a topic you wish we would cover? Questions or concerns, email us at [email protected].
