1 Kings 18:16 – 19 Elijah meets with King Ahad & has him summon all Israel to meet at Mount Carmel with 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Asherah
1 Kings 18:20 – 24 Elijah challenges the prohets of their gods and His God. They accept the challenge
1 Kings 18:25 – 29 They repeatedly call on their gods but no one answers and Elijah mocks them
1 Kings 18:30 – 37 Elijah presents his offering and prayer to the Lord
1 Kings 18:38 God answers Elijah
