Carl Jr. Kodakin-Yakeleya is Shutagot'ine (Mountain People) from the communities of Tulita and Deline First Nations located in the Sahtu Region of the Northwest Territories, Canada. He grew up living in many towns across the Northwest Territories and spent extended periods of time in the bush with his father and siblings. Now, as a father to 3 children of his own, Carl want to pass on the teachings that have protected these Lands for millennia.
