Focusing on veggies is seriously the EASIEST way to add it some great vitamins and minerals into your meals and snacks. AND your body actually uses these better than any supplement you can buy. You’re already buying veggies, so make them the focus of your meals for better health and lower grocery bills!
The way I get this done is to write out the veggies I want to eat first on my meal plan. Sometimes it’s what I am craving, sometimes it’s what the hubby and kid are craving. I also try to make sure to get in all these items on my plate at most meals:
Green veggie
Bright veggie
Lean protein
Healthy fat
Complex carb
