Listen "Hebrews 2:5-9 "Grace, Glory, and Honor""
Episode Synopsis
The author of Hebrews has shown us that the Son is a better revelation of God's salvation than the prophets and that He has greater glory than the angels. How can this be when we also know that He was a man who died?
By showing us what we don't see and what we do see, the author teaches us that the path to the glory that belongs to Jesus went through the humiliation of "taking on flesh, and dwelling among us."
If we claim to follow Jesus, we must be aware that our glory comes after humiliation, and we must not lose sight of the glory and honor that belong to Jesus when we do suffer.
