Episode Synopsis
Whoop we made an episode!! After a long hiatus, Julie & Phoebe discuss the challenges they've faced in balancing art, life, and other responsibilities. We reflect on the difficulties of staying connected and maintaining a creative practice amidst busy schedules and personal obstacles. Despite these challenges, Phoebe talks about recent efforts to carve out studio time, the emotional rollercoaster of feeling like an artist, the pressure of social media, and the small victories in reconnecting with their artistic identities. Julie talks about her new podcast, "The Creative Kind," and how it offers a different perspective by interviewing other artists.
