We started today's episode with the title ‘juggling art & life, but it quickly morphed into a discussion on balancing art & motherhood. We do hope to expand on other areas of the balancing act of having a creative career , but we just couldn’t fit any more into this episode ! We discuss the difficulties in finding time for art while parenting; mum guilt, time restraints, and financial pressure. Phoebe was primarily a mum first and then had to carve out time from her life for art, and Julie started her art career first and then had to find a way to parent and still find time to create.
