A God-honoring family must work diligently to live in harmony with one another!
1. CHILDREN HAVE ONLY ONE COMMANDMENT THAT THEY MUST KEEP WHILE UNDER THEIR PARENT’S AUTHORITY.
a. Children must obey their parents. i. Their obedience is in the Lord, not in their parents. ii. Their obedience is right (morally).
b. Parents includes both the father and the mother. i. This is tied to the OT and the decalogue. ii. Their obedience carries a promise.
