In 2 Peter 3:1-7 we are governed by the idea that We must have confidence in God’s Word no matter what people say!
In verse one we learn that 1) CONFIDENCE IS A MATTER OF THE MIND. 
Then, in verse two we see that 2) CONFIDENCE CAN BE BOLSTERED THROUGH MEMORY.
In verses 3-7 we see that 3) CONFIDENCE LOOKS TO THE MASTER.
We examined the first aspect of this in verse three, where we noted that a) False teachers do not believe the God's Word.
The second aspect is found in vv. 4-6 where we note that b) False teachers base their claims on their immediate circumstances.
The third aspect is found in v. 7 where we see that c) False teachers deny God's Word for the future.
