Randy finished his career in construction in 2019 after more than 4 decades in the industry as a superintendent, building mostly water and wastewater treatment plants all over Iowa. He spent the last several of his years at Story Construction as a Construction Production 2.0 coach and mentor, monitoring many job sites at once and helping the company implement and refine its lean methodology.
