The excitement of youth often rests in the potential of the future. It lies in the hopes and dreams that are up ahead somewhere, but we don’t know exactly where, but we know that one day we will look back and find ourselves much further ahead in the game of life.  As the years advance it is a great feeling to look back and count the improvements, the milestones, the victories that have been enjoyed.  It’s also great to look ahead at a future that is still brighter yet. The best is yet to come.  Joy comes when we experience the feeling of progress, “I’m not what I used to be, and I’m not as good as I’m going to be.” It’s sweeter as the years go by.
