Listen "Grace and Obedience Go Together Like a Hand in a Glove EP. 207"
Episode Synopsis
What does grace really mean, and how does it connect to our obedience? In this episode, we explore the incredible gift of God’s grace, a gift we didn’t earn and don’t deserve.
Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." But grace doesn’t end there, it’s the open gate to a life of discipleship.
Grace made the impossible possible. The narrow way to heaven was locked, and we couldn’t open it ourselves. God, in His unmerited favor, unlocked it freely through Christ’s sacrifice. But stepping through that gate doesn’t mean we’re free to ignore the journey ahead. Grace invites us to obedience, not as a burden, but as a privilege. As 1 John 5:3 says, “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.”
Grace and obedience work together seamlessly, like a hand in a glove. It’s not about earning salvation but responding to grace with a willing heart. Jesus opened the gate, now it’s up to us to walk the narrow way. Let’s talk about what that means for your walk with Christ.
