Listen "Do All Good People Go to Heaven? EP. 211"
Episode Synopsis
Do All Good People Go to Heaven?
There’s a popular idea floating around that if a person is
"good" by some standard, any standard, then they must be heaven-bound. But is that what the Bible teaches? In this episode, we dig into that question, starting with Ephesians 1:22-23, where Christ is declared the head of His body, the church. Scripture is clear that salvation is in Christ. And that means being in His body, not just being a good person by the world’s standards.
Many believe that sincerity is enough, but Jesus Himself
said in Matthew 7:13-14 that the way to life is narrow, and few will find it. That’s not a message designed to make people comfortable, but it is the truth. We look at the slow creep of cultural shifts, how over decades, even churches have drifted from biblical teaching. Satan plays the long game, nudging people a little at a time, until what was once unthinkable becomes accepted.
So, what’s the real standard? John 12:48 tells us that
Christ’s words will judge us on the last day. Not opinions, not feelings, not cultural trends, just His word. And that word is unshakable. Acts 4:12 makes it clear that there is salvation in no one else but Jesus. That means no other religion, no other system of morality, and no amount of "goodness"
outside of Him can save.
This isn’t about being harsh or combative. It’s about love, the kind of tough love that speaks the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. So, let’s test everything by scripture, stand firm on God’s word, and prepare to meet our God. Because at the end of the day, the only opinion that matters is His.
