When you have a chronic illness, pacing can help you to find the balance that can enable you to achieve what you want to without making your illness worse. But what is pacing? And how can you fit it into your everyday life? Well, Shabnam explains all.

Shabnam Rakhiba is a CPCAB qualified Life Coach & Chronic Illness Mentor. She has an extensive background in psychology, coaching & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Having lived with chronic pain for more than a decade, she founded the Chronic Wellness Lounge, a platform offering support, knowledge and resources to women living with chronic health conditions. She also hosts a free support community on Facebook- Unapologetic Women Collective: Chronic Illness Support. She is the author of the upcoming book 'Healing Through Pain'.
