Increase in digital (particularly OER) textbooks that include multimedia. Live updating of books or “living books.”
More pressure for instructors to develop their own material (OER) with minimal financial support.
Alternative accreditations grow in popularity.
Institutional closures, or at the very least a shrinking in institutional size.
