Today I have a really inspiring guest on the show to talk about a brilliant way to store energy using old mines, Christopher Engman!
Engman is founder and chairman of the Swedish startup Mine Storage.
Mine Storage is getting more and more attention and has come a far way and is now cooperating with utilities and grid providers to make use of old mines and turning them into large energy storage facilities using pump storage hydro. This is a technolgy that is proven and that can be very useful to help store energy from wind and solar and provide it to the grid when needed!
