Listen "Sorry, Not Sorry"
Episode Synopsis
Why are we always apologizing? In this episode of Everything Hurts, Danielle and Cheryl ask you to count how many times throughout the day you say, “I’m sorry.” Even when it’s not your fault…They’ll wait…Was it a lot? Unfortunately, it probably was. They discuss research that uncovers how women actually do apologize more than men, as well as how angry men are seen as more influential than angry women. That’s right. Twelve angry men get a cinematic classic; a dozen angry women is “Karen” convention. We also talk about how women are typically dismissed when they question or don’t have something pleasing to say (a huge topic that’ll receive more attention in a future episode). We want to hear from you! Because it takes a village to raise…well…ourselves, we’re ready to share a laugh, a cry and even an F-bomb with you.
