Episode Synopsis
‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The best du’a is the du’a on the day of ‘Arafah, and the best that I and the Prophets before me said is,
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay-in Qadeer.
“None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, alone, without any partner, to Him belong all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.”
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and classed as hasan by al-Albani in Sahih al-Targhib)
