Valeria speaks of her early childhood experiences involving her mother’s persistence in using Russian at home and this helped her stay connected with her roots. She then elaborates on her school experiences with French and Italian as an extracurricular language. She surprises the guys by showcasing her Japanese learning methods, which involves using a Japanese video game. Finally to conclude the interview, Ian asks about her experience being on language social media and what the interactions with the polyglot community have been like.
