Listen "What does IT look like in Lebanon — the story of a software developer from Beirut"
Episode Synopsis
Today's episode is the first in a series of podcasts about IT in different parts of the world.
We want to collect stories from native residents of various countries and hear about their companies, universities, communities, salaries, traditions, most popular languages, projects, what books they read, what courses they take, what conferences they attend, what they do outside of work, and so on.
Our guest today is DJ Beats, a musician from Beirut, Lebanon. And yeah, all his colleagues call him just "Beats."
And of course, he is also a software developer. Beats studied computer science in Beirut and Manchester, and then worked for eight years at the largest IT company in Lebanon.
