Alaeddine Kandil, discusses the Arab Spring in Tunesia and the subsequent elections as well as activities carreid out by young people to have an impact in shaping their own future,In Tunisia Alaeddine was organizing workshops, visiting local NGOs took part in digital activism as well as attending live rallies during this historical moment. He also volunteered in Tunisia's first free election.He recalls how using social media, was at that time very dangerous as well as their subsequent actions of protesting in the streets and lobbying with friends. At that time speaking freely could mean going to jail.Alaeddine decided to further his social work by volunteering for a year in Stuttgart. He encourages youth to stay engaged in the political process and to use their right to vote.
