Listen "Cain and Abel"
Episode Synopsis
We continue our study of endurance in the Bible with Cain and Abel. In this episode we specifically look at the effects of sin in Cain's heart and how sin ultimately is an active hatred of God. Something that stands out to me in this study is how God remained patient with Cain, even after he killed his brother Abel. It is a reminder of not only the power of sin, but the amazing patience and grace of God towards us while in our sin. It is a patience that is provided with hope that we repent from our exposed sin so that we may graciously return to what is best for us, God himself."If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
