Welcome to Day 14 of our Advent journey. Christmas Eve! The last day of Advent. Today we explore how the shepherds responded to their divine encounter - with immediate, joyful sharing of the good news they had received. Our scripture today comes from Luke 2:17-18: "When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed."   The shepherds couldn't keep the news to themselves. Their response to encountering Jesus was immediate and authentic - they had to tell others. Notice the progression: they heard, they went, they saw, and then they shared. Their testimony came from personal experience, making it both powerful and convincing.
