Late October 1996 to Earlyy February 1997. DUring a phone call from Dr. Jerry Merchison, he was perplexed to hear me announce my withdrawal from the Society of Professional Journalism. At the urging of Keith and his mother, I was ditching the reactive culture. Sometimes the reactive culture gets to us, dashes our hope, and clouds our success. We all sometimes neec corrective stretch to receive some hope. Keith's Latter-day Saint approach to humanity was beginning to rub off on me.
