Today we are joined by Olamide Ajisafe a true multi-hyphenate in the creative industry. Olamide is a writer, actor, and director who worked as an Assistant Director on Top Boy, has been part of the teams behind A Thousand Blows, Man Like Mobeen and other major productions, and later went on to write, direct and perform her own one-woman play Mothership at Theatre Peckham Fringe.We talk about what it’s like breaking into the creative industry with no connections, how she landed her first internship at the BBC, and how that catalysed her journey into some of the UK’s biggest shows.
