Michelle is a Life Recovery Coach whose journey to healing from sexual and domestic abuse, military sexual trauma, and mental illness secondary to trauma was the catalyst for her passion for assisting others to recovery, healing, and wholeness. The healing journey isn't easy; however, having the ability to shed mental weight through healing is necessary for our lives. We can hold onto things all our lives, but eventually, we will drive ourselves into misery if we aren't willing to face everything at some point. There has to come a time when enough is enough, and we can take the mask off. There is no reason we should be walking around feeling ashamed and guilty for things out of our control. However, society teaches us to keep the mask on and don't share because it's no one's business. Then we have suicidal thoughts because no one wants to reach out. This must stop!
