Listen "How to say no to family and friends"
Episode Synopsis
Excerpt: "I want to share my story about how to say no to family and friends because a lot of people find it hard. I remember my AHA moment! When I got to understand that saying no is not bad. My friends and I used to play monopoly, and I'd lose a lot of games. The games were heated because everyone wanted to win, and for me, my frustrations of losing hurt my feelings. One day, my friend won the game, and he laughed out loud! He said I may not know the key to success, but I know the key to failure, which is pleasing someone else. I believe he said these words unconsciously, out of excitement, and it shocked me. I backtracked how I play the game, and it made sense why I lost. I'm good at buying houses, but I am a people pleaser. My friends would ask to buy my properties, and I would agree. I'd please them to make them happy, only to see them laugh out loud when they win the game." Listen to this podcast and go to the website to learn more about how to improve your well-being.
