Listen "Zemmoa - Artist"
Episode Synopsis
SHOW NOTES Throughout our lives, many doors will close when working towards our professional dreams. It's up to you on how you'll take advantage of this opportunity. On the latest episode of Ellas, I had the honor of talking with Mexican artist, Zemmoa. She talks about how she has taken matters into her own hands and opened her own recording label, Zemmporio Records. Zemmoa is a singer-songwriter, pianist, producer, filmmaker, and trans model that is opening the doors for the current and future generations of trans women in Mexico. She talks with me about her greatest career highlights such as being one of the main acts of this year's Pride Parade in Mexico City, writing her column of the current experience for trans women in Mexico for Rolling Stone, and releasing her three albums, Puro Desamor, NNAV, and Covers. Her fight isn't over and she's still working to have the life, career, and love she desires, not only for herself but for her fellow Mexican trans women. Listen now to discover how she's making a path and inspiring women to be the person they've always dreamed of being!
