Roy "Futureman" Wooten is an inventor, musician, and composer. He is a six-time Grammy Award-winning performer with Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. For the Flecktones, Futureman plays the Drumitar, a guitar synthesizer he has invented to play drum and percussion sounds, and occasionally performs vocals as well.
