The coronation of King Charles sparked a debate between those who were for and those who were against the event. Those who were in favour argued that Charles was the rightful king and deserved to be recognized as such. They also felt that the coronation was important for the country's stability and prosperity. On the other hand, those who were against the coronation argued that Charles was an absolute monarch who was not accountable to anyone and thus, his power should be limited. They were also worried about the cost of the coronation and the potential for increased taxation in order to pay for it.
