This week’s episode is a special one, featuring a cover image of me at around seven years old—a little nod to the journey that’s led me here.

There’s also a moment to reflect on the sad passing of Roberta Flack, a true soul music icon. Her voice and storytelling have left an undeniable mark, so I’ve included Reverend Lee to honour her legacy.

Alongside deep and soulful selections from Brandee Younger, Gianni Brezzo, and Tall Black Guy, there’s a feature for Anchorsong, who will be headlining the next Sonar Sessions on 22 March at Studio 18, Stroud.
