Segment 1: Candlelighters and Survivors Motorcycle Club.Candlelighters of El Paso helps children and their families who have been affected by cancer. They help financially, emotionaly, and give support in many ways, especially around the holidays..Amber Banda interviews Melissa-Atkins-Wardy, CEO of Candlelighters El Paso, and Survivor's lady DeeDee on their upcoming 4th Annual Candlelighters Toy Run. The event will be Saturday December 13th and is open to all motorcycles and vehicles. Bring an unwrapped toy to 9300 Acer at 10:30am. the parade will start at 11:30 and go from 9300 Acer to 9031 Viscount, (the multi-purpose center) where the kids will be waitin to see all the bikes and vehicles! These machines work like a "regular" vending machine, but to help others this holiday season..Amber Banda interviews Alaine Bracken, City Lead for the El Paso and Las Cruces Giving Machines, and Alma Maese, Communication Director for the El Paso and Las Cruces Giving Machines. They talk about how these machines work, how they help, how they came to be in El Paso, and more..You choose, you pay, they get. You can choose to purchase various items such as grief bears, food, and coats for local and worldwide charities, including the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence, El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank, Children's Grief Center, and more.
