When Ham saw the nakedness of his dad, he was over a hundred years of age. He considered himself as a full grown man that can behave or do whatever he wanted as an adult. Even Ahithophel (2Sam 15,16,17) thought it was David that needed his service, how wrong. When he withdrew his service from his king, who was his political father, he committed suicide.
