Episode Synopsis
When was the last time you engaged all of your senses while eating?For this meditation, I invite you to bring a piece of fruit or bowl of food and place it in front of you. We can be sitting on the ground, crossed legs lotus position, or at the table for this practice. Focus all of your attention on the food in front of you.Being mindful of the food you eat can promote better digestion, keep you full with less food, and influence wiser choices about what you eat in the future. It can also help you free yourself from unhealthy habits around food and eating. Mindful eating, paying attention to our food, on purpose, moment by moment, without judgment, is an approach to food that focuses on individuals' sensual awareness of the food and their experience of the food. It has little to do with calories, carbohydrates, fat, or protein.Thank you for being here. Thank you for your support and your mindfulness. With Many blessings till next episode
