This week I decided to go back to my roots and perform a piano/acoustic version of the very first song I ever wrote. This song is called "Photograph" and it was the beginning of my transition from classical music to pop.
I wrote this song for my late grandfather. I always used to look at photograph's that we had together of when I was younger. The idea in general of a photograph always blew my mind that a moment in time could be captured literally by light and we could keep this moment and look back at it and remember a time that we felt something special. I think we sometimes take that for granted and that's why I am quite precious when it comes to keeping old pictures and memories that were beautiful and meaningful.
Also for this week, instead of a sunset background, we got up at 5am to capture the beautiful sunrise on the opposite side of our balcony to make it as picturesque as possible (see what I did there ;))
Loving watching the vibes community grow and seeing so many new musicians joining this awesome space. Again, @lordbutterfly and @marica_eth this wouldn't have been possible without you. Also big shoutout to @verbal_d for doing such an amazing job at always putting his heart and soul into his comments on contestants posts.
