Listen "Recycling To Save Earth"
Episode Synopsis
IN this week's Dogsthorpe Infant School podcast, Cap'n Dave and Eddie meet Cristina and Julia from Peterborough City Council.
They work with families and schools across the city to encourage everyone in the city to recycle or upcycle their waste and household items they no longer use.
We all know that we should do more but it's so easy to just throw thing in the waste bin instead of the recycle bin.
But do you know which item goes into which bin?
What items cannot go into our green bins?
What should we do with batteries that have run out of power and cannot be recharged?
In this podcast Cristina and Julia take us through the details of how we can do more and offer us resorces and advice.
And for Dogsthorpe Infant School children?
Well, there's some new friends coming to school to teach them about recycling this week in 'Shine Time'.

There are initiatives that the council is involved that we have not covered but may be useful for parents. One of them is offering discount to residents for reusable nappy and wipes and period products. I will attach the Microsoft Form that can be completed to access these discounts.
