In the very first episode of Eat, Pray, Britney, Lisa and Jaclyn outline the terms of the conservatorship that Britney Spears has been under for the last decade.  This episode sets the table for the rest of the season and begs the question: why aren't more people aware that Britney Spears has been under a permanent conservatorship for over 11 years?  Why and how is it possible that one of the most famous women in the world has been placed in a virtual prison of lawyers, managers, and handlers, without a public outcry?
