Her most recent book, Gamer Trouble: Feminist Confrontations in Digital Culture, examines the shifting associations around the term "gamer," explores the way online harassment events relate to deeper questions of marginalization and perceived legitimacy in gaming communities, and provides fascinating exegeses of games such as Mass Effect and Portal to interrogate deeper questions of race, gender, and myth-making in the digital world.
