Duchovny Dom Byzantine Catholic Men's Monastic Community is nestled in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon above the Walla Walla Valley, between Walla Walla, Washington and Pendleton, Oregon.

The monastic community is under the protection of the His Grace Bishop John Stephen Pazak , C.S.s.R. DD, the Bishop of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of the Protection of Mary, Phoenix, Arizona.

Inspired by the Apostolic Community of the Acts of the Apostles, the biblical virtues of poverty, chastity, and obedience are lived in imitation of the traditional monastic rules of the East. We hold all things in common and we are centered on the one necessity of following Christ in the mystical service of the Most Holy Trinity, the center of the monastic experience. This is the gift of the Holy Spirit to the world.

Through a life of ascetism and prayer we hope to acquire the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The monastic life, itself, being a gift of the Holy Spirit.
