Jack and his wife, Rose, started Jack's Famous Bagels. When they sold Jack's Bagels, they decided to embark upon a trip around the world with their two children, David and Lauren (who were 11 and 9 at the time). They traveled and acquired items from China, Tibet and other places around the world, creating their current business, The Sacred Space in Summerland. With ringing endorsements from notable characters in the spiritual sphere as well as the entertainment industry-the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Maria Shriver and Eckhart Tolle have walked the grounds, taking in the beautiful finds that Jack and Rose handpick while on regular buying trips to Asia. The Sacred Space has a soulful touch and an enchanting experience. Their goal is to plant a seed of higher consciousness, of the beauty that is possible in this frenetic world, the beauty helps us shift into a calm serenity.
