In this episode, we speak with Ms. Elena Marks, JD, MPH, president & CEO of the Episcopal Health Foundation. Episcopal Health is a $1.3 billion Texas-based healthcare philanthropic organization. Ms. Marks is also a nonresident fellow in health policy at Rice University's Baker Institute of Public Policy. In a bit of a twist from our prior episodes, we discuss her opinions on changing physician compensation models to account for health outcomes, the residual effects of inadequate Medicaid expansion, and how we can transform care for the underprivileged.
