Listen "DTW: Miami NCAA 2nd Round Post-Game Show"
Episode Synopsis
IU's best season in program history came to a heartbreaking end on Monday at Assembly Hall to Miami 70-68. After a terrible first half, the Hoosiers battled really hard in the second half but came up just short in a thrilling second half where they tied the game multiple times in the last few minutes. The finest season in program history comes to an end at 28-4 far earlier than expected. The team is likely to have another legitimate shot at a national title next year with only Grace Berger out of eligibility. The Hoosiers won big in December still with Berger out with an injury despite her being arguably the best player in program history. Upsets happen all the time in the NCAA Tourney and Indiana has not been good enough to be the victim of them. To be good enough to be the hunted instead of the hunter is a great place to be and should continue going forward.
