Contraceptives have been commonly used by women to prevent pregnancy throughout the past decades. However, as knowledge increases, we have deciphered that contraceptives serve more than one purpose.

Some use it to treat menstruation cramps, also known as period pain, stop or reduce ovulation, stop migraines, and many more.

In this episode, I am joined by a health professional, Dr Woniso Mazonde, who will give us insight into the negative effects of using contraceptives, and how it can potentially affect one’s health in the long run.
