On my first day working at a help desk, an employee had a post-it note on their computer with their password written on it. I thought to myself, “there has to be a safer way,” and my passion for cybersecurity was born. I worked my way up in the industry, and seven years later, I attained my first security role.
My passion is working with businesses and stakeholders to determine their risks and create a security strategy to protect themselves. I focus on people and processes, teaching and training teams to improve best practices while consulting with C-suite executives to strengthen policies and procedures. I also ensure that I have a comprehensive understanding of the technology involved to ensure that any recommended solutions will achieve the business mission and do so in a sure manner.
