Host Jon Burlingame talks with Grammy-winning composer Marcus Miller about the score for Disney+’s Safety, which marks his latest collaboration with film director Reginald Hudlin, who convinced Miller to take a break from working alongside jazz great Miles Davis to compose the music for his first film, House Party, back in the late 1980s. Miller also reveals how his years as a session player, writer, producer and bandleader help him as a composer.
