In the last couple podcasts, I discussed some of the no-no’s, what not to do. I know that if you are newer to investing or trading, or if you just listen to the news or look up fundamentals, you have to be a little shocked by what I told you about the last couple of podcasts. If you can’t listen to news or if you can’t look at fundamentals, how do you make money? The answer is very simple. You let everyone else do that and you look at the synthesis of what happened. Everybody gets together in the open auction of the stock market and they have all decided what they like or don’t like and they battle it out. For the most part it’s just traders battling with traders and these are meaningless battles. This is the noise. The vast majority of market moves are all just noise. Randomness. Every once in a while, something happens where the tide turns and the pattern becomes very readable.
